Terms of Service

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Vedic Club. They govern your access to and use of the Vedic Club website, mobile applications, account services, devotional content, audio, wallpapers, alarms, reminders, membership features, and related services, together called the Service.

By downloading, accessing, creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Vedic Club Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for another person, including a child, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and accept these Terms on that person's behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age and legal capacity required to use the Service in your country. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly create accounts where the required age or consent conditions are not met.

You are responsible for the device, network connection, operating-system permissions, store account, and credentials used to access the Service. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

3. The Service

Vedic Club is a personal devotional practice service. Depending on your device, country, language, and membership status, the Service may include:

• personalized devotional home experiences for supported deities;
• original mantras, chants, readings, audio tracks, and devotional wallpapers;
• localized Aarti, Bhajan, Chalisa, and Mantra content;
• local alarms, reminders, audio playback, wallpaper features, and supported sound assignment;
• account, cross-device preference, membership, and purchase-restoration features; and
• support, product updates, and privacy controls.

Features may vary across Android, iOS, the website, operating-system versions, device manufacturers, and subscription products. Some features require an account, a membership, an internet connection, or device permission. Bundled devotional content and saved local alarms are designed to remain useful offline after the required first sign-in, but account, billing, server verification, support, and some updates require connectivity.

4. Accounts and authentication

Mobile account sign-in uses a consent-based Truecaller verification flow when available, with Firebase SMS OTP as the fallback. The two paths are designed to resolve to one canonical Firebase user ID for the same verified phone number. Truecaller is an independent service and its own terms and privacy policy apply to its flow.

You authorize us to use the information necessary to verify your account, maintain your profile, protect the Service, restore access, and administer entitlements. We may ask you to re-verify a phone number or provide additional information for account recovery, a number change, a duplicate-account resolution, or a security-sensitive request.

Do not share one account with another person, attempt to bypass phone verification, submit a number you do not control, or use another person's profile information. We may rate-limit, delay, suspend, or refuse verification attempts to prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.

5. Devotional content and responsible use

Vedic Club provides devotional content as a personal practice companion, not as a religious authority. Hindu traditions, texts, pronunciations, transliterations, translations, iconography, and practices vary among families, regions, languages, teachers, and communities. Content may contain cultural, linguistic, or interpretive errors despite review.

Audio, readings, and artwork may be original, generated, synthesized, translated, or adapted from traditional material. Generated or translated content should not be treated as the official teaching, endorsement, or statement of a temple, religious institution, teacher, or deity. Vedic Club does not provide religious rulings, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, emergency alerts, or professional counselling.

Use the Service with appropriate judgment and the guidance of your family, teacher, temple, or community. Do not rely on devotional alarms or reminders for medication, safety, travel, emergency response, or another time-critical purpose.

6. Permissions and device features

Vedic Club may request notifications, scheduled or exact alarm access, audio or media access, wallpaper access, and other operating-system permissions when you activate a related feature. You may deny or revoke a permission, but the related feature may not work without it. We do not require notification, location, contacts, microphone, or camera access for unrelated core content.

Android may support local alarm delivery, wallpaper assignment, ringtone, notification, alarm sound, or contact sound assignment through device APIs and user-mediated system flows. iOS may provide local notifications, save, share, and guidance instead of Android-equivalent system assignment. Device manufacturer restrictions, battery optimization, Focus or Do Not Disturb, silent mode, volume, network state, process termination, reboot, time-zone changes, and operating-system policies can affect behavior.

We describe platform limits in the app and do not promise that an iOS alarm will behave like an Android exact alarm, that a device will deliver an alert in every system state, or that an unsupported system assignment will succeed.

7. Membership and subscriptions

Vedic Club may offer an optional auto-renewing membership through Google Play Billing and Apple StoreKit. The membership may provide access to a changing collection of premium devotional media, personalization, or other recurring benefits. The precise benefits, price, duration, trial or introductory offer, eligibility, renewal price, taxes, and currency are the terms shown by the applicable store and purchase screen at the time of purchase.

Promotional offers may include an introductory period or price followed by a recurring charge. Before you confirm, we will present the offer duration, the amount and frequency of the recurring charge, the renewal behavior, and how to cancel. The offer shown in the app or store controls over any general example or marketing statement.

Google Play or Apple charges your store payment method and manages the store transaction. Vedic Club does not receive your full card or bank details. We may receive transaction references, product information, signed purchase data, subscription status, and entitlement lifecycle events so that we can verify, restore, support, and enforce access.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through the applicable store before renewal. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal and leaves access available through the current paid period, subject to the store's rules and applicable law. Uninstalling Vedic Club, signing out, or deleting an account does not cancel a subscription.

Use the subscription management link provided in Vedic Club or the store account settings to manage, cancel, restore, upgrade, or downgrade a store subscription. Refunds for Google Play and Apple purchases are generally handled by the applicable store. Any refund rights that cannot legally be excluded remain available.

Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. We will warn you before account deletion if an active subscription may continue billing and will provide the applicable management route. We may suspend premium access after a refund, chargeback, revocation, expiration, failed payment, or store decision, while preserving any rights you have under applicable law.

9. Ownership and licence

Vedic Club and its licensors own or control the Service, including software, design, branding, selection and arrangement of content, original audio, wallpapers, text, interfaces, and other materials, except for material identified as belonging to another party. These materials are protected by intellectual-property and other applicable laws.

Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable charge, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial devotional practice. You may use media through the features and system flows that Vedic Club makes available on your device.

You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, resell, bulk download, publicly perform, broadcast, modify, remove rights notices from, misrepresent, or create a competing catalogue from Vedic Club content. You must not use Vedic Club audio, artwork, text, prompts, metadata, or outputs to train another model or service without written permission. Do not use devotional material in a hateful, deceptive, defamatory, exploitative, or intentionally disrespectful context.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any applicable law, infringe rights, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• circumvent account, membership, regional, technical, or security controls;
• probe, scan, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, introduce malware, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
• use automated access, scraping, bulk extraction, or unauthorized downloading to build a competing service;
• harass, threaten, defraud, exploit, or expose another person or their personal information;
• submit passwords, OTPs, access tokens, payment credentials, or confidential information in a public or unsupported field; or
• use alarms, notifications, audio, wallpapers, or other features in a way that creates a safety risk or violates another person's rights.

11. Feedback and support

If you provide feedback, suggestions, error reports, or ideas, you grant Vedic Club a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, adapt, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without payment or attribution. This does not transfer ownership of personal information or content that you did not intend to license.

For support, billing recovery, account recovery, cultural-content concerns, or privacy requests, contact support@vedicclubapp.com. Do not email passwords, OTPs, authentication tokens, purchase tokens, or payment credentials.

12. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party operating systems, app stores, authentication, cloud, security, analytics, advertising measurement, communications, and payment services. These providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability, fees, and limitations. Vedic Club is not responsible for a third party's independent service, decision, outage, or policy, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Truecaller, Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Play, Apple, Meta, device manufacturers, network operators, and hosting or support providers may process information as described in the Privacy Policy. You must comply with their terms when using their services through Vedic Club.

13. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, correct, restrict, replace, or discontinue content, features, platforms, languages, devices, membership benefits, or parts of the Service. We may change prices and offers prospectively, subject to store rules and any rights that apply to an existing purchase.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every device, free from errors, or preserved in its current form. We may maintain, suspend, or limit the Service for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes where appropriate.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or rights, comply with law, address a security issue, collect an unpaid amount, or enforce these Terms.

On termination, your licence to use the Service ends and you may lose access to account-linked preferences, alarms, media assignments, membership benefits, or other data. Account termination does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Provisions concerning ownership, payments, acceptable use, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution, and interpretation survive termination where their nature requires.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, accurate, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee religious, educational, wellness, alarm, subscription, or other outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vedic Club will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss arising from missed or altered alarms, device or operating-system behavior, network failure, store or payment decisions, third-party services, unauthorized access, external links, or reliance on devotional content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where applicable law permits, you agree to indemnify and hold Vedic Club and its personnel harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.

16. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other laws that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction over the operator's principal place of business will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires a different forum. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any store purchase terms shown before checkout, form the agreement between you and Vedic Club concerning the Service.
